One of the biggest challenges in managing project tasks is establishing a common repository. With a widely accessible common repository like OneNote, the whole team can be more effective. Here is how.
1. Create a notebook in OneNote. When asked, invite the rest of your project team by email address. Be sure to locate the notebook file where your team can access it. This can be SharePoint, OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) or a network drive. If your team is composed of folks both inside and outside your organization, OneDrive is probably a good choice. If it’s SharePoint, be sure that the external team members are either federated (able to log in to your network and access limited resources) or that the subsite or library in which the notebook is contained allows access to external users (SharePoint 2013 only).
