When store manager Tony Rohr gave his employees the day off on Thanksgiving instead of opening his Pizza Hut location in Elkhart, Indiana, he was asked to submit a letter of resignation. But now the company has offered to rehire the man who insisted that Thanksgiving should be spent with one's family. "Why can't we be the company that stands up and says we care about our employees and they can have the day off?" Rohr said.
