Business Management Daily’s New Acquisition Brings Fresh Perspective to Workplace Publications

Falls Church, Va. — Business Management Daily announces that it has acquired theofficeprofessional.com and managingpeopleatwork.com from Phoenix-based content marketing agency McMurry/TMG.

Business Management Daily will focus on making Managing People at Work a user-friendly subscription website to help supervisors do their jobs more effectively. The publishing company will incorporate the high-quality content from theofficeprofessional.com into its current newsletters and websites. This will allow Business Management Daily to provide its readers with an additional library of valuable business information.

“Business Management Daily will seek to be indispensable to subscribers who turn to us for fresh, insightful information on issues that affect their careers and livelihood,” says Cal Butera, editor of Managing People at Work. “We are excited and eager to serve the readership of Managing People at Work and The Office Professional.”

The managingpeopleatwork.com subscription website is a strong strategic fit with the other management offerings at Business Management Daily, including its popular webinars, books, CDs and newsletters. Theofficeprofessional.com corresponds nicely with two of Business Management Daily’s current newsletters, Administrative Professional Today and Office Manager Today, as well as the publishing company’s numerous training offerings in office administration and office technology.

This acquisition enables Business Management Daily to expand its resources into the management field, which is a strong complement to the HR, leadership, office administration and office technology verticals that the publishing company already serves.

“We are very pleased with this acquisition and look forward to making Managing People at Work an effective subscription website for our readers,” says Business Management Daily’s Publisher Adam Goldstein. “We are also actively looking to acquire other properties in 2014.”
