Few things chip away at productivity more than disorganization. Boost your productivity with these clutter-clearing tips from Rhonda Abrams.
- Look at the tangibles. What’s physically in your workspace? Look at paper products, business cards, samples, receipts, excess inventory, gifts, swag—everything that’s taking up physical space.
- Use technology. Declutter and save space by going paperless. Use a scanner to get your business cards and documents into your computer and off your desk.
- Ask for help. If it’s tough for you to decide between trash and treasure, call in reinforcements. Having someone else there will provide you with another perspective and another set of hands.
