- Build a “life raft.” For smaller organizations, a life raft consists of three sponsors: one inside your organization and two outside. For larger organizations, you want two inside, and one outside.
- Become visible. Sign up to be a mentor or lead another -develop program.
- Be a joiner. Join community organizations and take on leadership roles to increase your influence.
