Q. I want to apply a second animation, but every time I choose another animation, it gets rid of the first one. Did they take this ability away in the new version of Office?
A. The Animation Pane used to come up by default in PowerPoint when you added animation. Now, you have to activate it. On the Animations tab, look in the Advanced Animation group for the Animation Pane button and click it.
