Q. I have workbooks with a lot of worksheets. I don’t need the horizontal scroll bar. I’d rather see more worksheets. Can I get rid of it?
A. You can on a workbook-by-workbook basis. In Options (File>Options in 2010, Office Button>Excel Options in 2007), choose Advanced. In the Display options for this workbook section, uncheck Show horizontal scroll bar. You can use Alt+Page Up and Alt+Page Down to scroll left and right.
