Once you’ve designed a custom Theme with its signature colors and fonts, you’re one click away from correctly formatting any document. If most documents will be using that Theme, why not make it the default?
Click File>Open. To the right of the File name field, change All Word Documents to Word Templates. Select Templates or (Trusted Templates) from the top-left Navigation pane on the Open dialog box. Choose Normal. Save a backup as Normalbak.dotx. Then save it as Normal.dotx. Apply your custom Theme, then save and exit. Every new blank document will now use your custom Theme.
