Color code legend in Excel
Q. I’d like to provide a “legend” so people know what the different Conditional Formatting colors mean in Excel. How can I do this?
A. Click on the Conditional Formatting button, and choose Manage Rules, and if necessary, change the Show formatting rules for: field to This Worksheet. Press Alt+PrintScreen. This captures only the resulting dialog box, which should show all your formatting and how it is applied.
