Do others sometimes accidentally delete the formulas you spent hours creating? You can safeguard them by applying the lock cell format option and protecting the work sheet. Actually, all cells in a work sheet are automatically formatted as “locked.”
Select the cells you want your users to enter data and right-click. Chose Format Cells, then the Protection tab. Uncheck the Locked checkbox. Right-click the work sheet tab and choose Protect Sheet. You will be able to enter a password. Now, no one can change protected cells unless they know the password.
