At Pixar, the people who make the products run the show.
The home of “Toy Story,” “Cars,” “Finding Nemo” and “Monsters Inc.,” builds stories from the ground up, putting faith in its employees.
Or, in the words of John Ratzenberger, who has given voice to a character in every movie since “Toy Story”: Pixar employees have “the backbone of a small town: Get up and go to work. That’s what brought us to the dance; the audience they play to is the majority of Americans.”
And, he adds: “They really should be running Western civilization.”
