One of the best things about Windows 7 is that you can find what you seek in just a couple of clicks. And, then find it again and again. How? Pinning.
You will find three places to pin files you work with all the time. Here’s one: Pin files to the application icons you have already pinned to the Task bar. Right-click on the icon, and pin the files you see under Recent. When you hover over the file, you’ll see a gray “pushpin” to the right. Click it to turn it blue. Now it’s pinned!
