Word: Using Format Painter

by on
in Office Technology,Word Tips

Using Format Painter, you can repeat a set of one or more format choices in a couple of clicks.

Example: You’ve formatted text as red, bold, italic and underline. It probably took you five mouse clicks. If you were particular about the shade of red you chose, it might be tricky to pick it again easily. Just select the formatted text, then the Format Painter button. Now click and drag the paintbrush cursor over the text you wish to format the same. You can find the Format Painter on the Home tab, Clipboard group (first one on the left).
