Tracking the wage ceiling

What will the Social Security tax wage ceiling be next year? Based on the Obama administration’s budget forecast, using data provided by the Social Security Admin­is­tration (SSA), the ceiling will rise to an estimated $114,000 for 2013.

And longer-range forecasts place the threshold at $119,100 for 2014; $121,500 for 2015; and $125,700 for 2016.
