At a neighborhood Italian restaurant, blogger and business author Daniel Pink caught sight of a sign posted by the dining spot’s owner.

Under the smiling face of the owner was a request: “I need your help! If you had anything less than a great experience, please call my cell.”

Pink wondered, “Why doesn’t (Postmaster General) Patrick Donahoe give out his phone number on a placard in every post office?” Or grocery store owners on shopping carts?

It’s easy to say you’re accountable. And not so easy to say, “Call my cell.”
