West Chester-based AK Steel has filed suit against three former employees in Butler County Court, alleging that they stole company secrets when they went to work for a competitor.

According to a report in the Hamilton Journal-News, AK Steel accuses former engineer Donald Earley of accessing confidential trade information when he quit to take a job at rival ThyssenKrupp Steel USA.

The complaint also alleges two other employees, Dona Ashby and Jonathan Salibury, provided Earley with additional information. Ashby and Salibury later also quit AK and went to work with ThyssenKrupp. The suit seeks unspecified damages.
