Sure there’s Evite.com. But have you checked out the competition in online invitations lately?
pingg (www.pingg.com) allows you to personalize invites by uploading photos or videos, or to choose from crisply designed invitations (to e-mail, print, text or share via social networks). It also manages RSVPs, guest-messaging, reminders and “thank you” notes.
Socializr (www.socializr.com) is, according to one reviewer, like Evite with wit, and no clicking-through required.
PurpleTrail (http://purpletrail.com), a similar option, has a consensus module to help you gather input from invitees about the best place and time for your event.
Sendomatic (www.sendomatic.com) looks businesslike without being stuffy. It isn’t free, though; it costs about $13 to send an invitation to up to 100 recipients.
