Frank Winters, former police chief in Gloucester County, has been sentenced to seven years in jail for stealing money from Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD).

Winters admitted he stole $180,000 by billing MADD and the borough of Clayton for products that were never delivered. Winters owned the companies that were supposed to provide the goods.

Final note: Good accounting practices can prevent such abuses. Never allow employees to do procurement deals with entities they own or control. Always have a second person review purchases and payments.

There are other MADD employees who have stolen money from the organization and all MADD supporters are traitors to our Constitution. The land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, ever hear that saying before? Plus MADD can never prove they saved any ones life.
