Determine how much you care about your current job. Ask yourself, “What ideally needs to happen here for me to be more satisfied with the work?” If you know the answer, then make every effort to turn your ideal into a reality. But if you can’t come up with an ideal scenario that would make your current position more palatable, that signals a more serious problem. You may need to switch jobs or redirect your career path.
