Devote 15 minutes on Friday afternoon to planning your next week. Start with Objectives: What must get done by next Friday? Then identify the Actions you must take. Assign a Time to each action, leaving a cushion in case of problems or delays. Now reach for your weekly planner and set a Schedule for next week. Balance tasks so that you aren’t swamped with the hardest stuff all at once, and cluster related jobs to maximize efficiency.
