What does it take to land on one of those “best places to work” lists?
According to Randstad’s World of Work survey for 2008, the top three traits of the ideal company are:
- Recognizes employees’ professional value to the organization
- Cares about its employees as much as its customers
- Delivers on its promise to customers
And leaders will want to take note of a fourth high-ranking quality:
- Having active leaders who serve the company (not themselves)
Unfortunately, most people surveyed said their current employer was missing the mark.
