Wiesel calls the Old Testament figure the greatest legislator and commander of the first liberation army.
“And he never had a good day in his life,” Wiesel adds. “Either the people were against him or God was against him.”
So, what are we supposed to learn from Moses?
“Humility,” says Wiesel. “Everyone needs it, but mainly leaders. Because they have power.”
