Tsujihara breaks out the peace pipe — Business Management Daily: Free Reports on Human Resources, Employment Law, Office Management, Office Communication, Office Technology and Small Business Tax Business Management Daily
When Kevin Tsujihara took over Warner Brothers’ Home Entertainment Group last October, he stepped into a cauldron of warring divisions with disparate initiatives that included home video, digital distribution, video games, technical operations and anti-piracy efforts.
Tsujihara’s job had him literally galloping in different directions at once. One minute, he was trying to increase sales of DVDs off retailers’ shelves. The next, he was planning how to encourage customers to download movies online.
Tsujihara’s solution? For starters, he’s gotten the leaders of all the initiatives literally under one roof. That alleviates the need to negotiate and mediate from on high.
