FTC sets stricter limits on prerecorded telemarketing calls

A new Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rule puts much tighter limits on businesses that use telemarketing calls to deliver prerecorded messages. In most cases, employers and organizations won’t be able to use prerecorded telemarketing calls unless they have a written OK from the recipient.
