Among employers that offer tuition reimbursement benefits to their employees, 30% make the option available to employees immediately after they’re hired, says a new study by the Institute for Corporate Productivity.

Twenty percent of employers require only a six-month waiting period while a third (33%) require employees to wait a year. Remarkably, almost half of the companies (43%) in the survey don’t require employees to reimburse them for tuition benefits if they leave the company early.
