Track your time online

When you’re managing a project team, it’s important that everyone know what’s going on—and when. A new e-mail service can help. Called Jump (www.jump.com), the free program allows you to post your contacts, to-do lists and schedule online. Your account is guarded by a password, but you can still give selected employees access to your whereabouts and appointments. The well-designed site lets you “jump” quickly from your e-mail to your daily planner to your contact list, thus billing itself as a “completely connected calendar.” The service works with personal digital assistants such as the PalmPilot.
