Q. I’m so tired of watching people get promoted around here who are totally inept. It seems that the best employees wither on the vine and the brown-nosers get plum assignments. I’m fed up. Is there anything I can do?
A. Yes, stop judging and start analyzing. Rather than labeling people as “inept brown-nosers,” try applying some objectivity and examining what makes the work of these employees stand out. Learn from them, don’t dismiss them.
