Respect the chain of command with this boss and be eager to take risks and embrace action. The professor is more cerebral. She likes to analyze, apply logic and make connections by amassing evidence and then identifying options. Help this boss by isolating relevant rules and explaining how they relate to a problem. Also ask open-ended questions in the role of “student.” The dreamer likes to conjure up a lofty goal and then work back to make it happen. Indulge this boss by tossing out promising what-ifs.
