2. Phones4Charity.org: They refurbish and send some donated phones to domestic violence victims or the elderly, enabling them to make 911 calls. Other phones are sold to developing nations, and proceeds go to selected charities, such as domestic violence prevention groups, American Red Cross, National Wildlife Federation and Feed the Children.
3. Recycling for Charities (www.recyclingforcharities.com): Choose the charity you’d like your retired cell phone to benefit. The group also accepts PDAs, iPods and digital cameras.
