2. Give both exciting and boring assignments equally to all the members of your team. Those who bring energy and accomplishment to dull tasks are showing you more strength than people who only excel at high-visibility assignments.
3. To let people know that changes are happening under your watch, give up symbols that remind them of the past, such as your reserved parking space next to the door or an executive dining room. Highly visible gestures demonstrate your personal commitment to change.
