Psychology professor Dean Keith Simonton, University of California at Davis, studied the subject and found that a “genius” three generations ago would be considered “normal” today.
Simonton supplies his own mathematical model to show how genius flows from generating a wide array of possibilities and combining them in unique ways. He says the true test of genius is the ability to bequeath an influential body of work to future generations.
So, go ahead. Carry on in your astonishing brilliance.
