try to address your boss's problem ... at least until you ask these two
questions:
• "If I could convince you that solving this problem was really important, how would you do it?" That draws the boss not only into the game but also on your side.
• "If we can overcome this problem, can you see any other reason not to move ahead?" That commits the boss to put up or shut up.
