A new OfficeTeam survey asked 613 workers what one thing would give them more job satisfaction. The runaway winner: more schedule flexibility (33 percent). The lesson: If possible, allow workers to set their own schedule, within reason. Stagger schedules to allow early risers and night owls to work when they're most productive. If permanent flextime arrangements aren't feasible, allow workers flexibility with their daily schedules. Just make sure all employees are aware of their responsibilities and how they'll be evaluated.
