Be wary of calls from ‘IRS’

If you receive a phone call from someone who asks for personal financial data and claims to be from a federal agency, such as the IRS, ask that person to put the request in writing. Never provide your Social Security or credit card numbers. Why? Con artists often use tax season to pose as the taxman to steal financial data. Alert your employees to this scam.
