One-Quarter admit to giving fake late-To-Work excuses

According to a new CareerBuilder survey, 24% of employees admit to making up fake excuses to explain their tardiness.

When asked for the primary cause for their lateness, employees cite traffic (32%), falling back asleep (17%) and their long commute (7%). A full 43% of managers said they don’t mind if employees are late, as long as their work is completed on time with good quality.
