A former bank teller is suing Cleveland-based KeyBank after she was robbed at gunpoint three times while working in the company’s Ellet branch. After the last robbery, she claims she was forced to quit due to severe emotional distress.
The lawsuit claims KeyBank was negligent for failing to provide guards after the branch was robbed four times between 2002 and 2006. The company provided a guard after the final robbery, but only for one month.
The teller seeks at least $25,000 for each of the three negligence claims.
