The reviews are in. Here's the verdict: Upgrade to Microsoft's new Office 2003 version only if you handle large volumes of e-mail, use a network and plan to install Microsoft's server software. The major improvement: Outlook, which can now organize e-mail 12 different ways and includes more spam-blocking options. Other improvements are minimal. The best improvements come only with Office 2003's Professional edition ($499) and require you to have SharePoint, Microsoft's server software.
