Focus on employee results, not face time

A new OfficeTeam survey asked employees what one thing would give them more job satisfaction. The runaway winner: more schedule flexibility (33 percent).

The lesson: If possible, stagger schedules to allow early risers and night owls to work when they're most productive. If permanent flextime arrangements aren't feasible, allow employees flexibility with their daily schedules.

Just make sure all employees are aware of their responsibilities and how they'll be evaluated.
