Business owners seldom involve themselves in activities that do not have a clear purpose and a return on time invested, that includes reading. I read a lot, but not much fiction. For me, reading fiction requires more than entertainment, I want an important life lesson or a new world view. Without that, reading lacks purpose for me and I lose interest pretty quickly.
With that backdrop, I offer my "Top Ten" list - Great Books for the Compulsive Business Mind. I’ve ranked them in order and need your feedback for the tenth spot.

Researched and updated in 2005 it is a book I think of often though I read it three years ago.

I'm currently reading this book and have found
several ideas that apply to most businesses I know.
I also love their Highrise software.
Don Miller helped me realize the importance of stories in my life and he encouraged me to look at the world and my involvement in it quite differently. An enjoyable read with real life lessons.
A quick read with no BS. A prefect book for business owners who need to create a "real business", not just own a job.
Filled with a lot of short ideas which gave me the courage to work on making the stories in my life more interesting and exciting.
This great story helped remind me there are no real threats in my life other than the ones I create in my mind.
The only fiction book on the list, it helped me realize we really walk through life backwards.
