Recruiting Seasonal Workers
Job postings for seasonal work typically result in a flood of applications, but it can be difficult to find individuals who are qualified and committed. To that end, be sure to tap these valuable resources.
Current employees. Ask for referrals.
Seasonal workers from previous years. Stay in touch with them throughout the year, e.g., send the company's quarterly newsletter to them, too. Bonus: They already know the ropes.
Frequent customers. Bonus: They already know and love the product.
