That notwithstanding, employees still consider employer-provided health benefits to be of paramount importance. The results of a recent survey conducted by theResearch Institute showed that employees prefer employer-provided health benefits, even to salary. When asked, 75% of those employees said they would need at least an additional $6,700 in salary before they would think about giving up their health benefits.
