I really took an HR job because I love people, to expand my marketable skills and to increase my income. I was in banking prior to this so I increased my income right away and have continued to learn new skills, but didn’t realize that the paper-pushing would far outweigh the time spent working with and for people. I would be working in retail if I could open my own business or some other service related field.
