Although I did not go through college with the intent of working in HR, that is where I ended up! The one course that I took in college, and have used over and over again is a course in html and website building. Even if you just know the basics of html, and how to use one or more WYSIWYG website building programs (Dreamweaver, FrontPage) it will set you apart from your peers.
In today's world, more and more HR professionals are responsible for maintaining or designing an employee intranet site wtih information for employees and having the fundamentals of how to do this is key!
