Better communication = better performance

A new study proves what you may intuitively know: Organizations that communicate effectively with employees outperform those that don't. The Watson Wyatt study showed that companies with the most-effective communication programs returned 57 percent more to shareholders than companies with the least-effective programs.

The study suggested: (1.) Train managers in communication. (2.) Connect employees to your business strategy. (3.) Follow a formal communication process, and encourage employee input.
