Take your company’s “About Us” web page from forgettable to memorable by incorporating these tips:
1. Cover the basics: who your company serves; long-term goals and mission. Don’t forget your address.
2. Tell people who you are. Include short bios, e-mail addresses and photos of employees. Example: Lorri Thomas, of marketing strategy firm Web Marketing Therapy, asked her employees to include professional history and personal tidbits. She says, “Your clients want to know you, like you and trust you.”
3. Post testimonials or list big-name clients you’ve partnered with. Add client logos to lend credibility. Mention awards, community-service work and green initiatives.
4. Have an interesting corporate history? Share it.
