Improve these three workplace habits for a healthier you:
1. Stop eating at your desk. According to the Royal Society of Chemistry, workers who sit at desks covered with lunch crumbs, which lure vermin out at night, may be typing on keyboards that have mouse droppings. It could make you sick.
2. Improve your posture. Sitting up straight isn’t ideal, according to one study. The best position is leaning your chair back at a 135-degree angle.
3. Request a flexible work arrangement. A recent Cochrane review of 10 studies found that control over your own work hours leads to health benefits in areas such as blood pressure and sleep.
