The question is very generic and difficult to answer. Is the writer looking to find out methods for handling projects within SharePoint? if so, I recommend making liberal use of the information sharing possiblities availabile in SharePoint and maximizing the linkages between Outlook and SharePoint for meeting organization.
I haven’t used SharePoint much for this purpose, but you may want to look into the ability to manage tasks within the program. There should be a lot of information available from Microsoft on this issue as they were pushing this hard a few years ago.
