This is a follow up to Mark’s comment. PC World is another magazine that has lots of great info on what’s new in software, hardware, etc. It gives reviews of new items on the market. My husband subscribes to the print magazine. He keeps me informed of anything that might be useful for the office as well as personally. This is magazine is very useful and informative.

We used to subscribe to PC Magazine. They would review all substantial new software releases (office software, security software such as anti-virus, and all kinds of other software), hardware, and much more. However, earlier this year, they stopped publishing the magazine and are now just doing it via e-magazine. We hate it, and have already canceled the subscription. But if you don’t mind e-magazines, it might be a viable option. Also, if you go to Barnes and Noble or Borders, you will find a dozen or more magazines devoted to computer hardware and software.
