Create a fun quiz to help workers appreciate the numbers that drive your business. Example: Provide a multiple-choice test on how much your firm spends on utility bills, payroll and marketing. Or play a “guess the gross” game, in which employees are given last quarter’s gross, year-ago results and recent sales projections. The person who comes closest to guessing gross revenues wins a prize. Hint: Only do this when revenues are up.
