According to a new survey by SurePayroll, 81% of small business owners say they’ve never received outside equity or debt financing. More than half (55%) of respondents say they have no need and no plans for external funding. For businesses that tapped into outside capital, debt financing was the most popular, followed by equity financing or a combination of both.
